Responsibilities: Software development of a very high performance timing driven placement/routing for FPGAs. Be part of the world class team in USA to develop fast placement/routing of large FPGAs, leveraging unique features of the Achronix technology. Collaborate directly with team members working on placement, routing, and timing analysis.
Skills: At least 2 years of industrial software development experience of EDA software. Good programming and debugging skills, and proficient in C++. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms. Strong analytical skills to understand cause and effect in a large code base. Direct hands-on experience with expertise in EDA place and route algorithms of large designs, preferably for FPGAs. In-depth understanding of state-of-the-art timing-driven place and route algorithms and their trade-offs. Preferred skills: Familiarity with Linux and Verilog or VHDL. Knowledge of digital electronic circuits and how they work. Knowledge of scripting languages, especially TCL. Experience and Education: EE or CS. ME with 2 years of working experience, or BE with equivalent experience.
